Be a part of operating the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure. Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced supply chain Specialist to support the development of inventory planning and sourcing metrics and strategies. This person will manage inventory planning of spare parts to support the data centers located in APAC region. This role will report to an APAC Regional Manager based in China.
This person will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and will have demonstrated the ability to collaborate within a group or team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory planning and supply chain management.
This is an individual contributor role. As one of the global team member this critical role will require the ability to establish and build relationships with both global team and local customer- operation team independently.

· Ongoing inventory review and replenishment to ensure to meet stock target.
· Review new equipment landing plan and identify and address gaps in coverage. Prepare stock to support new equipment operation.
· Execute stock rebalancing through transfers between locations and purchasing.
· Analyze existing business processes and logic, identify gap and initiative process improvement.
· Develop, implement, and provide summary and detailed inventory analysis reports to management.
· Perform other projects, analyses and data extraction as assigned.
· Responsible for metrics of availability and inventory turns.

- Bachelor degree and 2+ years of parts planning or supply chain experience, with proficient data analysis skill in in Excel, SQL, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
