The Opportunity
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Supply Chain Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to ensure the timely and compliant movement of pharmaceutical products worldwide. In this role, you will coordinate temperature-controlled shipments, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with multiple teams—including Quality, Supply Chain, PMs, CMC, and external vendors to meet patient needs. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with Office 365, Excel, Smartsheet, or related tools are crucial for success.
What You Will Contribute
Shipment Coordination: Schedule, transact, track, and manage global shipments (including temperature-controlled) to ensure on-time delivery.Preparation of all shipment documentation: Export, domestic, and import forwarding-on shipments, in compliance with any appropriate regulations.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Quality, Supply Chain, CMC, PM) and external partners (3PL’s, CDMO’s, Customs Brokerage and more) to resolve distribution issues and maintain service levels.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and internal policies. Maintain accurate shipment records and documents in ERP/TMS systems.Data Management: Use Office 365, Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and other software to track performance metrics, generate reports, and identify potential areas for efficiency improvements.Process Improvement: Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing logistics processes, optimizing carrier onboarding, and integrating new technology solutions.
What We Seek
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operational Management, or a related field (previous logistics or pharmaceutical experience not required, but preferred).A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in logistics in highly regulated environment.Previous experience in freight forwarding, 3PL, or specialty couriers is an advantage.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Effective verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and timely interactions across teams and vendors.Proficiency with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet, or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.Willingness to learn about cold chain logistics, GxP/cGMP requirements, and other aspects of regulated industries.Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, global environment.A Customer service approach Flexibility with working hours as needed based on business requirements.What We Will Provide to You:The base salary range for this role is $41.10/hr - $45.45/hr.
