In this vital role, you will drive efficiency and optimization within Amgen Manufacturing Limited (AML) Site Logistic Planning, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound scheduling, capacity management, and data accuracy for AML Supply Chain. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategic planning models, analyze demand and supply requirements, and implement process improvements that enhance warehouse utilization and production efficiency. **Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Under minimal supervision performs work Logistic planning demand and supply requirements. + Analyze, consolidate, and report demand to management, co-workers, and customers. + Develop multiple scenarios to assist in driving long range plans and capacity analysis. + Ensure proactive and broader engagement of AML Supply Chain Operations in Inbound and Outbound planning activities + Maintain excellent communication lines with all sources of demand. Use credibility, Logistic planning knowledge, and expertise to influence demand process as appropriate. Track and analyze monthly performance metrics and reports to assist our sources with improving the quality of their outputs. + Develop & provide monthly planning models for all products by implementing extensive inventory control and process development techniques to minimize variability impact and improve production utilization. + Manage the expedition of product releases to alleviate inventory shortages via business management using intra and inter departmental correspondences. Represent PPIC on current and new Product/Operations Development Teams to insure product manufacturability, efficient production methods, and plant efficacy. + Provide training for intra and inter departmental staff on Planning processes, functions, and procedures. + Provide education and information on Logistic Planning and product decision-making processes in order to improve the overall communication pathways of PPIC with other related departments. Understand how PPIC fits in Amgen/Logistics’ business process to provide development opportunities and continuous process improvement. + Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and training to other Planners as to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Represent PPIC in cross-functional teams and projects at the direction of PPIC management. + Managed and Implement Process Improvements and enhancements using Quality Systems such as SOP’s, CAPA’s, Change Controls and Operational Excellence tools **What we expect of you** We are all different! The Supply Chain Manager professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications. **Basic Qualifications:** Doctorate degree Or Master’s degree and 2 years of Business Planning, Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience Or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Business Planning, Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience Or Associate’s degree and 8 years of Business Planning, Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience Or High School Diploma and 10 years of Business Planning, Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Educational background in Business Administration, Science or Engineering + Strong communication and technical writing skills. + Proficiency in Rapid Response, SAP, Tableau, Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Office + Strong ability to work in cross functional teams. + Working knowledge and understanding of GMP regulations and GDP requirement. + Project Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Planning and/or Scheduling previous experience + Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence mentality + Effective communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both Spanish and English **What you can expect of us** As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.
