The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Supply Chain Manager role will make an impact:
Provide planning, procurement, logistics, and oversight for all assigned productsCollect, consolidate, verify and communicate forecasted Drug Product volumes per article to be used in the operational plan (budget)Review forecast changes, and identify significant demand risksAccountable for end-to-end Supply Assurance of assigned product portfolioReview open Purchase Orders and production schedule with vendors to ensure the requested delivery is met; monitor shipment schedules and provide actions to mitigate riskServe as point of contact to BSLs and manufacturing sites for any questions related to supply issues, resolution plans, inventory for assigned product portfolioFollow up shipment of the orders with agreed carriers and monitor the shipments until delivery and release in the marketAccountable for Inventory planning for assigned product portfolio
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Bachelor's degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain management, Trade or Management) or equivalent experienceAround 5 years of professional experience in a Supply Chain environment; preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in Materials Management and alignment with Sales, Marketing and Finance is an added valueFluent in English (both spoken and written), other languages are an added valueKnowledge of SAP and/or Rapid Response (and add-on modules such as APO) is an advantageKnowledge and understanding of planning tools and related reporting tools (Business Intelligence Tools) APICS training certification preferredUnderstanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processes and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flowsWell-developed interpersonal skills (team member, integrity, flexibility, creativity)Ability to work in a complex matrix organizations
