Purpose of Role: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overall performance of the supply chain for a dedicated Value Stream. This will include both supplier and customer on time delivery, supplier cost reduction, purchased inventory turns, supplier quality improvement, and management of the overall production plan to support and drive US Minerals customer and revenue goals

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage: Provide feedback, coaching, and guidance to support growth, development, and performance improvement of the procurement team, ensuring goals and objectives are being met.Monitor On-Time-Delivery: Drive total supplier on-time-delivery to >90% and implement corrective actions to maintain performance standards while ensuring ERP system accuracy on inventory, lead time, minimum buy quantity, and standard cost.Enhance Supplier Relationships: Negotiate and execute agreements, manage relationships, and monitor performance to ensure compliance and efficiency.Monitor Lead Times & Expedite Parts: Optimize supply chain efficiency by reducing lead times, simplifying processes, and managing work center capacity. Identify supply risks and develop alternative supply plans through outsourcing and insourcing.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, or Business.10+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership experience and proficiency with MRP systems.Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
