Senior Manager, Business Operations

Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in New Berlin, Wisconsin.Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.This role is contributing to the Motion Service Team.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.•\tUtilizing understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.•\tParticipating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.•\tSeeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.•\tExperience with an ERP, specifically SAP, preferred •\tSupport US MOSE SCM team with open PO management (Vendor acknowledgements and transportation planning)•\tProvide supply chain data analysis support (material flow and lead time optimization, cost management)•\tSupport master data management for procurement (material lead time updates, import/export information)•\tHelp expedite inbound material for customer sales orders and our repair workshop

Qualifications for the role

\tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field, in the United States\tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite\tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future\tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
