What You Will Do:
Serve as a Supply Chain Lead to assist US Army clients solve and improve their existing training, operations and readiness efforts related to supply chain management operations. Individual will support supply chain improvement projects across the following areas: Supply Chain Strategy, Supply / Demand Planning, Procurement, Supplier Performance, Logistics / Inventory, Supply Contracts, operations, readiness and training.
Executing project plans, schedule meetings, preparing presentations and supporting client meetings,
Serve as a point of contact with the client to manage project milestones and adherence to deadlines
Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain operations (processes and procedures, training, analytical tools, etc.)
Apply analytical decision-making processes to propose changes in supply chain policies, procedures, and business processes.
Work with functional and technical stakeholders to implement process improvement in supply chain operations and business systems.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelors degree
TWELEVE (12) or more years of supply chain or logisitics experience
Experience and knowledge of process analysis, mapping, and optimization; including optimization techniques such as Lean Six Sigma.
Experience in performing data analytics, particularly in areas that optimize supply chains.
Demonstrate experience with common issues facing supply chain management and operations with clients who provide products and services (e.g., aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer and retail, energy, industrial products, technology or utilities) on a daily basis.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with strategic and operational plan implementation
Experience analyzing data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Familiarity in supply chain or logistics within the Department of Defense (DoD) (Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps).
