Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Deliver Driver is responsible for the transport and delivery of Supply Chain materials and equipment to CAMC facilities and all other contractual customers. The Supply Chain Delivery Driver may be required to deliver materials and equipment beyond the loading docks and into departments. This position serves as a liaison between Supply Chain Management and all point-of-service contacts. The Supply Chain Delivery Driver will provide outstanding customer service and accept responsibility while maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The Delivery Driver must possess and maintain a CDL Class C driver's license issued by the state of West Virginia, must be able to safely operate a vehicle weighing more than 26,000 lbs with a standard transmission in a safe manner, and must be able to work independently and proactively. The Supply Chain Delivery Driver must complete daily logs required by CAMC and maintain a clean vehicle. The Supply Chain Delivery Driver will also work with other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
• Demonstrates, through behavior, CAMC’s Core Values of Quality, Service with Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Stewardship and Safety as outlined in the organization’s Service Excellence Program.
• Possess and maintain a West Virginia class C driver’s license. A clean driving record is required and must be maintained.
• Delivery of Supply Chain Management supplies to all CAMC facilities and to other contracted customers in an efficient and timely manner.
• Develop and maintain a positive and effective relationship with all point-of-service representatives. Serve as a positive and professional representative of CAMC.
• Efficient and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Performs daily pre-and post-check inspections on vehicles driven. Reports any malfunction to supervisor.
• Maintains established schedule for deliveries and pickups.
• Completes all items in the daily delivery logs and delivery documentation.
• Comply with all CAMC rules for health, safety and personnel conduct.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including general cleaning of CAMC vehicles.
• Safe and efficient operation of all CAMC vehicles weighing more than 26,000lbs with a 5-speed transmission.
• Transports Supply Chain Management supplies on carts, pallets, etc. to and from one or more locations following driving protocol for shifting loads. Reports any accident, no matter how small, as soon as it happens.
• Checks in with Material Handling Center and Linen services for trucks to be moved upon return from each run. Spots trucks and checks for proper distance from dock.

Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Required) Experience: Prefer 6-12 months of delivery driver experience.
