Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description
Analyze common stock inventory, coordinate material demand for a healthy flow of material into the organization, and support inventory cycle count activities. Create, control, and monitor purchase requisitions for various commodities, initiate, review, and negotiate material supplier quotes/pricing. Maintain communication with the supplier base for up-to-date information on inward goods, and coordinate material transactions to internal stakeholders/customers within the organization. Analyze forecasted material requirements to minimize and/or eliminate potential disruptions to operational workflow, support supplier relation and auditing activities as necessary, maintain auditable material information using the company ERP system, and recommend improvements to material transaction processes in support of continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor and manage inventory.
+ Coordinate inventory transactions.
+ Communicate and provide feedback to suppliers.
+ Initiate and support material cost-reduction efforts.
+ Support Fleet Solutions material requirements according to project and/or common stock goals.
+ Collaborate with other departments to understand dynamic inventory obligations.
+ Coordinate activities with internal and external suppliers and customers.
+ Ensure auditable traceability on material transactions.
+ Provide technical support, quoting, order tracking, forecasting, and expediting.
+ Review RFQs for details and completeness, perform preliminary technical reviews, and handle parts quotes for OEM materials and components.
+ Track orders placed with supply chain partners and support forecasting and production control.
Essential Skills
+ Inventory management
+ ERP system experience
+ 5+ years of related work experience in a material and/or supply chain role
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong organizational and multi-task coordination skills
+ Ability to understand and execute work under emergent and strict scheduling deadlines
+ Knowledge of MS Office tools/programs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
+ Associate’s degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Logistics, and/or Accounting, or equivalent
+ Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
+ Working knowledge of common Supply Chain Management processes
+ Experience in Ship Repair and/or Technical Service Industry
+ Experience using Oracle ERP system
+ Supply Chain Management Certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent)
Work Environment
Working hours are flexible with a start time from 6 am to 8 am, and an hour lunch break. The role involves working closely with the Supply Chain and Procurement team to support day-to-day operations, focusing on inventory monitoring and management, coordinating inventory transactions, supplier communications, and material cost-reduction efforts. The position requires working under general supervision and taking initiative to ensure material requirements are monitored and maintained according to project and/or common stock goals. The environment is dynamic, requiring attention to detail, a data-driven mentality, and an experienced understanding of material management and/or supply chain principles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $100000.00
