As the Supply Chain Analyst you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving our ecommerce and retail supply chain processes. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights that contribute to the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance of our global supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis:
Collect, organize, and analyze data related to ecommerce and retail supply chain operationsUtilize data analytics tools and software to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvementGenerate reports and present findings to support data-driven decision-makingPerformance Metrics:
Collect, organize, and analyze data related to ecommerce and retail supply chain operationsUtilize data analytics tools and software to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvementGenerate reports and present findings to support data-driven decision-makingProcess Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of inefficiency within the supply chainSuggest and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costsAssist in the development and execution of ecommerce and retail supply chain strategiesInventory Management:
Analyze inventory levels and turnover rates to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costsAssist in forecasting demand and supply requirements to maintain inventory accuracySupport inventory optimization initiativesSupplier and Vendor Management:
Evaluate supplier performance and assess their impact on the supply chainIdentify opportunities to strengthen supplier relationships and improve lead timesAssist in the negotiation of supplier agreements and contracts
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with a focus on ecommerce and retail Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, such as Excel, MicroStrategy (or similar), and other data visualization toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of ecommerce and retail trade regulations and logisticsAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracyAbility to self-manage time and performance against deadlines
