Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer will be based in Guadalajara North site this position, you will maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

 Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.change documentation when needed to update job instructions and documentation when neededDevelops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.Consolidates and reports quality results.Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion. Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective actionsStudy and recommend techniques to improve existing products and processes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.Experience leading a teamWorking knowledge of manufacturing batch records.Demonstrate advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills..Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions in assigned area.Basic understanding of manufacturing protocols, statistical tools and methodology, and continuous improvement techniques preferred.Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects.Experience within a automotive environment.Experiencie with SuppliersIATF 16949Experience similar positionEnglish advanced mandatoryStrong leadership and project management skills
