Responsibilities You will be responsible for ensuring contractor and government adherence to contract, quality and technical requirements during the maintenance, testing, inspection of NWS systems delivered to and operated by SWFPAC personnel. You will participate as a government representative on the Material Review Board (MRB) and is authorized within delegated authority to recommend accept or reject dispositions for non-conforming material. You will be responsible for ensuring that non-conforming material is usable within the limitations imposed by the MRB. You will prepare monthly reports regarding QAS activities for Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). You will ensure that surveillance and inspection functions will properly monitor and maintain an effective contractor quality assurance system in all assigned areas of responsibility. You will review administrative, technical and quality assurance directives and policies for suitability and inherent effectiveness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and implementing quality assurance audit and surveillance program procedures to monitor and audit contractor work performed (e.g. testing, maintenance, inspection) on warfare system, subsystems or equipment to identify operational or procedural deficiencies and recommend corrective action to ensure work processes meet quality and certification requirements. My experience demonstrates a practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
