SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Systems Acquisition Group Program Management Dept., Air Warfare and Special Missions Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. NM-04 (GS-14 equivalent) position; Control Point: GS-14, Step 10: $185,234 Responsibilities You will serve as a supervisor and acquisition lead and carry out the full range of combined technical and administrative direction of others. You will be responsible for managing the planning and development of acquisition strategies, acquisition plans, ACAT milestone documentation, contracting actions, and assesses effectiveness of acquisition efforts. You will coordinate the management decisions across program stakeholders and messaging of the information and analysis, but also balancing the analysis to make strategic and optimized decisions. You will review all acquisition documentation ensuring compliance with applicable policy, standards, and processes. You will assign work to subordinates based on priority, difficulty, requirement of assignments and capabilities of the employees. You will identify developmental and training needs of employees and arrange for needed development or training. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NM-03 or grade level (GS-12/13) or in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Estimates resources requirements of systems (both existing and conceptual), to include programmatic changes that may impact resource requirements and lifecycle costs and effects; 2) Performs research tasks to obtain a variety of cost, schedule, and performance data; 3) Conducts analyses to derive relationships among system parameters, schedule variations, and costs; 4) Recommends procedures for preparing, documenting, validating, and presenting resources requirements to higher authority; 5) Uses various mathematical, economic analysis, operations research, and computer modeling, techniques to perform tasks.
