Summary About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. Responsibilities Serves as the Department of the Army technical and functional expert on acq-log data requirements, metrics for associated PS elements and weapon system sustainment capabilities. Responsible for managing sustainment reviews (SRs) in support of Army readiness objectives and Congressional requirements. Reviews product support documentation and metrics to assess system attributes against stated plans and supportability objectives in preparation for the sustainment review. Serves as the Army functional proponent for the Life Cycle Logistics career field of the Army Acquisition Corps workforce. Provides oversight of Army certification of Life Cycle Logisticians. Specialized Experience:1) Developing acquisition logistics policies in accordance with Federal regulations, 2) Leading a team to build coalitions at multiple echelons to accomplish logistics goals or priorities, 3) Reviewing product support documentation addressing system life cycle or supply chain risk management; and 4) Conducting sustainment reviews to assess product support strategy.
