Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Submarine and Aircraft Carrier Operations Directorate of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT supporting the Maritime Industrial Support Division. #LI-NAVSUPWSS Responsibilities You will serve as a Supervisor with the Maritime Industrial Support Division. You will plan, assign, and evaluate work performed by subordinates by setting and adjusting priorities, providing advice and instruction, and finding ways to improve production and quality. You will serve as the department's point of contact for matters related to Maritime Industrial Support. You will take action to identify and resolve complex supply issues. You will monitor contractor performance in the support of assigned projects. You will coordinate with internal and external partners to determine and address priority needs, recommend procurements or repairs, and use supply chain management tools and processes to ensure the availability of materials and supplies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) concepts, policies, and procedures to end-to-end supply chain and lifecycle logistic support as they relate to assigned material, systems, platforms, and/or projects. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Conducting research to identify obstacles to supply support and recommending and carrying out solutions; 2) Utilizing supply chain management processes and tools to ensure the availability of materials and supplies for submarine and aircraft carrier maintenance and modernization; 3) Coordinating, monitoring, assessing, and analyzing supplier performance including production, shipping, and material acquisition; 4) Reporting material and workload status to managers and/or senior leaders; 5) Working with internal and external partners to communicate supply system needs and performance.
