Leadership is provided based on the Mayo Clinic’s mission, vision, and values. The role includes ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making with physicians, associate providers, department staff, and multidisciplinary team members. The Supervisor will maintain a professional environment and on-going development of his/herself and staff. The Supervisor applies current leadership and management theories to daily management of team. Assists in the development and implementation of operational plans. **Qualifications** Minimum 4 years as a respiratory therapist. Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or healthcare related field or must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Actively pursuing is defined as meeting the admitting University’s qualification as an active student. Good verbal and written communication skills. Function with initiative and independent judgment. Desire for continuous quality improvement. Demonstrates Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrates skills in leadership, problem solving, continuous improvement, verbal and written communication, and team building.Supervisory experience preferred. Additional NBRC specialty credentials preferred.The National Board for Respiratory Care - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. This credential must be maintained throughout employment. Permanent or temporary license from the licensing board in the state of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Life Support (PALS) required if the department interacts with a pediatric population. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required if the department interacts with this the newborn population. **Exemption Status** Exempt **Compensation Detail** $86,278.40 - $129,480.00/ year **Benefits Eligible** Yes **Schedule** Full Time **Hours/Pay Period** 80 **Schedule Details** Monday- Friday with occasional weekend.
