GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general direction of Surgical Services Leadership, supervises employees engaged in reprocessing reusable surgical instrumentation, stocking and distributing sterile supplies to assigned areas. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Associate's degree preferred. Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or Sterile Reprocessing Technician required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Certified Sterile Professing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT), OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), OR Certified Surgical Technologist; AND must obtain a CSPDT or CRCST within 12 months.
