Summary

Performs supervisory and administrative duties associated with inspection personnel management. Coordinates the tasks and work plans of the Receiving Inspection area.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Led shift QC Coordinators for non-compliance material quarantine activities (including system and physical quarantine) to prevent unintended use Performs supervisory and administrative duties associated with inspection personnel management Coordinates the tasks and work plans of the Quality assurance area Observes and verifies the accuracy and adequacy of the inspection activities and records Responsible for material flow, storage of parts, and accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system Generates and maintains quality metrics and reports, as required, and implements appropriate preventive/corrective actions (as needed) to improve quality Identifies problems and proposes timely, cost-effective solutions that meet quality requirements Assists in the development of visual and dimensional inspection/test procedures and material specifications Support in routine audit readiness activities Works with QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other department personnel, as necessary, to support quality and business objectives Assumes and performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree with ≥ 3 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) as applied to medical devices Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP System Ability to communicate effectively and clearly Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment Experience and Education Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 5-8 years of industry experience.Informal management/ team lead experience.
