Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor of Registration, Bilingual Spanish/*Women's Health* - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate The Registration/Clerical Supervisor administers manages and coordinates the functions of the appointment scheduling at Sunset Park Women's Health. Coordinates with the Senior Site Director and rest of leadership on all projects specific to and consistent with daily operations of Family Health Centers patient flow systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises the Patient Service Associates in efficiently processing patient appointmentsSpeaks and writes clearly and in a well-organized mannerEncourages open communication from staff and actively listensCommunicates important organizational information to staffEncourages and facilitates collaborations across the Health SystemMaintains a formal and informal network of relationshipsIs knowledgeable/familiar with HMO and Managed Care protocols and is responsible for relating any changes to staff/departments affected.Generates predefined standard and statistical reports for Patient Service Associate productivity and call center activity.Works closely with LMC and LFHC MIS to ensure that appropriate equipment is functioning properly for appointment scheduling. Trouble shoots to recommend appointment system enhancementsAssists with the designing and implementing of computerized appointment reminders patient instructions and coordinated ancillary appointmentsCreate and maintain scheduling templates for all network providersManages and coordinates functions pertaining and related to the LFHC Appointment Scheduling System.Interacts with other departmental staff for the purpose of enhancing the delivery of careAssists in updating and informing the Patient Service Associates in an assigned department of any changes in procedures staffing and appointment scheduling.Assists in problem solving and the resolution of patient problems and provides information regarding appointments

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree required.
Must have 1-2 years of direct supervisory experience in ambulatory care services in a health center, hospital or other health related facility.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous front desk supervisory experience in similar FQHC setting or busy ambulatory practice.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $65,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
