To supervise all building and office facilities in order to provide efficient service to all company management and staff

Key Performance Areas

Supervising the Logistics and Facilities
Identifying major areas that require maintenance eg air conditioning generator transformers lifts access control fire systems etc
Scheduling and managing maintenance programmes to address areas identified as per project plans
Managing the inspection of the building daily for areas that require attention
Following up on progress in respect of areas requiring attention
Ordering and purchasing stock required for maintenance purposes
Assessing move requests to identify the needs in respect of furniture
Conducting a feasibility study to determine requirements
Preparing floor plans as per specifications and costing
Obtaining approval and managing the roll out in respect of project plans
Managing the ordering and purchasing of office furniture as required for planned moves
Managing disposal of waste Confidential and General for Head Office
Managing testing for bacterial growth in Air Conditioners and kitchens
Managing the actioning of findings on reports from testing&rsquos
Identifying areas where natural resources can be used in an environmentally friendly way

Occupational Health and Safety
Managing the effective implementation of compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety policy
Ensuring compliance with OHS in respect of storage and stacking of documents furniture and equipment
Ensuring compliance with OHS in respect of building regulations
Attending monthly OHS meetings on behalf of the company in respect of Logistics and Facilities
Signing and completing required documentation for compliance and submit to manager for sign off

Management of maintenance tools
Determining and planning budget for all building/office maintenance and submit to Finance Executive for approval in respect of the following air conditioning generator transformers lifts access control and fire systems

Project Coordination
Receive and action requests from manager accordingly
Determine material ls and equipment required for project
Obtaining quotes for material ls and equipment
Submitting quotes to manager for approval
Compiling feedback to manager on progress of project
Supporting with adhoc tasks as and when required by direct manager

Reporting
Keeping accurate records as per audit requirements
Compiling adhoc reports as and when required
Coordinating and implementing adhoc projects as requested by Management

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Relevant Tertiary qualification
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
3 to 5 years experience in a Logistics and Facilities environment
2 to 3 years experience in a Management role
1 to 3 years experience in HVAC
1 to 3 Years experience In Electrical
1 to 3 years experience in plumbing and building work
On call 24/7 additional requirement employee must be will to work on a weekend in the event of an emergency and or when required
