Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR - IMAGING SERVICES to join our team!

The Imaging Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Imaging Services Department in conjunction with the Imaging Manager. The supervisor ensures compliance with the established patient care quality standards as they relate to all age groups of the patients we serve. The supervisor ensures smooth patient flow throughout the day, participates in, and maintains performance improvement activities within the department, and monitors competency of imaging personnel. The supervisor will maintain an efficient and cost-effective department operation while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols. Complies with maintaining a program which supports our philosophy and values while strengthening relationships in their department. This individual enhances patient care effectiveness and efficiency through the application of leadership principles and the establishment of relationships promoting quality care. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care within designated specialty areas. Facilitates appropriate utilization of equipment, supplies, instrumentation, and staff resources in the delivery of patient care while collaborating with our practitioners’ needs. Maintains an elevated level of clinical expertise while serving as the primary resource in providing skilled technologists. The supervisor initiates and is involved with recruitment, corrective action, and other personnel-related activities of staff in the department. Physician partnership is a key element for this individual’s success.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE or 80 hours each pay period. Day shift.

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of imaging standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a formal accredited imaging program.A minimum of three years clinical experience as a registered technologist is necessary to enhance and develop skills.An additional three years of leadership experience is desired.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license (As applicable - WI Locations only)Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireInterpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, as well as to provide effective leadership for assigned personnel, and to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with various hospital departments.Possesses excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Skills include ability to coach, enroll, counsel and mentor.
