Salary range for this position is $79,019-$92,976; Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) is responsible for the coordination of daily operations of one or more entity Healthcare Technology Management staff engaged in installing, inspecting, testing, monitoring, calibrating and repairing all OSF HealthCare patient care equipment. In doing so, sets work priorities, coordinates daily staffing, monitors screening procedure, and maintains supply of replacement parts. Responsible for reporting problems as it relates to patient care equipment to local facility leaders and/or the District Manager of Healthcare Technology Management. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY: Plans work priorities, and coordinates activities of the local HTM staff. Performs various human resource management activities including interviewing, orienting, training, and disciplinary process for department personnel. Monitors staff performance and conducts the evaluation process. Responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are communicated and understood by department personnel. Oversees the work of assigned employees to ensure quality and productivity standards are achieved and maintained. Ensures adherence to department safety standards and recommends solutions and improvements. Assists and performs staff level duties as workload dictates. Acts as technical adviser to local administration and medical staff regarding planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of patient care equipment. Develops and performs in-services for medical center staff regarding patient care equipment. Keeps current on trends and developments by reading appropriate journals and literature. Assure program compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies . Reports all unsafe conditions or possible code violations, regardless of cause or location to the appropriate OSF HealthCare entity. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: High School Diploma, Certification from AAMI/ DOD, and 7 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry OR Associates Degree and 6 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry. 3 years of progressively more responsible experience, necessary to be able to install and repair computer/patient care equipment and lead work groups. Licensure/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
