Supervisor-Fuel Receiving

Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly motivated and committed employee for the position of a Supervisor-Fuel Receiving to join the versatile Supply Chain team. We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick's DNA by:

Reporting to the Fuel and Lubrication Coordinator, the Supervisor-Fuel Receiving is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing fuel on the mine site, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Receive and Inspect Fuel

Verify fuel delivery quantities against supplier documentation. Conduct visual inspections for fuel contamination or damage. Check fuel temperature, API gravity, and other quality parameters. Collect and label fuel samples for laboratory testing. Document discrepancies or issues with deliveries.

Store and Handle Fuel

Store fuel in designated tanks or containers. Ensure proper labelling and signage for fuel storage areas. Monitor fuel levels, predicting potential shortages. Maintain fuel storage facility cleanliness and organization.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain accurate records of fuel receipts. Update inventory in SAP. Generate reports on fuel receipts and inventory.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

Advanced diploma or equivalent in any business-related field 1-3 years of experience in fuel management or related field. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license (optional). Familiarity with mine site operations and safety protocols.
