The Role:
Responsible for assisting daily operations and overall business objectives in the Foundation Room.
House of Blues Foundation Room is an exclusive club for professional and personal entertaining. Foundation Room offers intimate upscale dining, exotic lounges, bars, and secluded Prayer Rooms perfect for meetings or social gatherings. Our Foundation Room member’s range from rock stars to corporate CEO’s and it is expected that all members and guest receive highly personal service and the highest level of standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Fine Dining experience for both members & nonmembersMaintain daily labor/timesheetsOversee all schedules within Foundation RoomsConduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational mannerFollow up/follow through of subordinates in reaching goals (continual coaching and counseling)Assist with the Hiring, Training & Development of Staff.Follow the HOB Service Standards per Standard Operating ProceduresHousekeeping – conduct walk throughMaintain operational suppliesMaintain reservationsOversee parties/special events in the roomKeep guest feedback logFacilitate proper inter-departmental communication and organizationQualifications
Tolerance of all cultures, music and art formsGuest RelationsFood Preparation/presentationFine Wine knowledgeFine dining ProceduresSome Financial & Operational skillsAbility to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerKnowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulationsAbility to work late hoursPoint of Sales KnowledgeHigh volume experience with a VIP club or upscale hospitality establishment
