The salary for this position is $115,990 to $141,766, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is required to supervise facilities maintenance operations at United staffed maintenance locationsResponsible for the local maintenance planning and executionProductivity, accountability and dependability program execution and (SLA) service level agreement compliance delivering the optimum level of performance in support of safe and reliable airline operationsPartners with all local customer bases ensuring positive customer relations and service level goals achievedMaintain a positive working together relationship in a union environmentSupervises Mechanic team performance and execution against all division and corporate maintenance objectivesThis includes maintenance customer (SLA) service level agreement compliance, maintenance cycle time, all in service level goals/tolerances, planned and preventative maintenance program complianceLeads efficient and effective team maintenance operations in a positive, productive and safe work environmentSupervises maintenance productivity, coordinates technical training, leads employee dependability issues, supports team recognition program and supports employee accountability programs in accordance with policyLeads safe and environmentally compliant maintenance operationsSupports all safety/OSHA, environmental and training programs complianceSupports safety mitigation programs and leads investigations that support root cause analysis of accidents, injuries and incidences involving facility areas or team personnelMaintains proactive communication and positive relations with maintenance team and customer group partnersLeads accurate and effective customer reporting and communication programs while sustaining positive customer service and effectiveness ratingsSupervises Mechanic team performance and execution against all division and corporate maintenance objectivesThis includes maintenance customer (SLA) service level agreement compliance, maintenance cycle time, all in service level goals/tolerances, planned and preventative maintenance program complianceSupports efficient and effective team maintenance operations in a positive, productive and safe work environmentSupervises maintenance productivity, coordinates technical training, manages employee dependability issues, supports team recognition program and supports employee accountability programs in accordance with policyLead safe and environmentally compliant maintenance operationsSupports all safety/OSHA, environmental and training programs complianceSupports safety mitigation programs and leads investigations that support root cause analysis of accidents, injuries and incidences involving ground service equipment or team personnelMaintains proactive communication and positive relations with maintenance team and customer group partnersManages accurate and effective customer reporting and communication programs while sustaining positive customer service and effectiveness ratings

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Post-secondary education in a technical or maintenance related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years experience in a maintenance- related roleKnowledge of planning and execution of maintenance operations, leading a team of maintenance personnel, sophisticated digital literacyPossess related technical knowledgeMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

Associate’s degree in business or related fieldRelated Skills/Trades LicensesPrefer experience in building maintenance/systems-related maintenance operationsPrefer knowledge of facilities/building maintenance skills/trades, such as Electrical, HVAC, Conveyor, Plumbing, building maintenance/systems

The base pay range for this role is $115,990.25 to $141,765.86.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
