The Facilities Department is responsible for all facilities operations, maintenance, and calibration of direct and indirect equipment to the manufacturing process, and project management for expansions or remodeling. This department manages facilities planning, construction, and renovation, including primary contact and management of architects, design engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. The Facilities Department is also responsible for managing the facility in a manner that assures uninterrupted cGMP compliance in existing manufacturing areas, as well as the research and process development areas. This position will take a supervisory role within the Facilities group. The Supervisor - Facilities must use judgment within generally defined guidelines to identify problems, craft solutions, and interact with other departments to promote a team-oriented work environment. **This is a full-time on-site position, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.** **Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer, and Catalent employee.** The Role: + Complete maintenance work orders for both regulated and unregulated systems. + Ensure effective documentation of preventive maintenance in line with cGMP guidelines. + Activate equipment following established procedures. + Schedule monthly preventive maintenance work for team assignments. + Escort contractors for routine deliveries or inspections, ensuring adherence to procedures. + Oversee team and contractors to ensure quality work and safety compliance. + Recommend facility improvements to meet OSHA, ISPE, and FDA guidelines. + Create and update maintenance procedures based on best practices and lessons learned. + Participate in committees such as Safety and Environmental Engagement. + Complete documentation for change controls and deviations and participate in audits. + Lead and coach team members to improve performance, set clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and support skill development for career growth. + Other duties as assigned. The Candidate: + Trade Journeyman or equivalent training in electrical/electronics, HVAC, or closely related field and 5 years of experience, **OR** + A.A. degree in electrical/electronics or closely related field with at least 5 years of experience, **OR** + Related military training with at least 5 years of electrical/electronics experience. + Field experience in: Facility Maintenance, HVAC Troubleshooting and Repair, Electrical Troubleshooting preferred + Experience leading maintenance activities required + Prior experience in construction of cGMP manufacturing facilities is beneficial + Strong Mechanical and electrical aptitude required, knowledge of PLC programs and ladder logic is a plus + Knowledge of GMP regulations, 21 CFR parts 210 and 211, EU regulations and ISO Standards preferred + Good oral and written communication skills required + Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
