Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke’s Health and a team of specialized physicians— focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine care—in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging including MRI CT and nuclear medicine.
As the Environmental Services Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to ensure a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day supervision to the Environmental Services Department under the guidance of the Manager/Director. Your role will be to lead by example and demonstrate top-notch environmental service skills, as well as courteous and professional behavior towards patients, physicians, visitors, volunteers, and other employees.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates working knowledge of the cleaning and disinfection principles and requirements, proper chemical, equipment usage, and labor requirements for maintenance of furniture, furnishings, interior finishes for all areas of responsibility.Provides oversight of inventories, usage data, and ordering of consumable supplies and equipment repairsPrepares work and time schedules, under the direction of the Manager/Director, coordinating vacation and holiday time and reviewing daily adjustments in the work schedule. Promotes and supervises a culture of safety, hand hygiene, patient experience, as well as employee engagement and retention.Remain patient, kind and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff
Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience in environmental services required.One (1) year supervisory experience and Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification preferred.
