Key Responsibilities:Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilitiesResponsible for the supervision and coordination of all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location ensuring these activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance with schedule requirements and in compliance with all established company, regulatory and manufacturers proceduresLeads and assign work team and related personnel to meet company and customer requirements, goals, and objectivesAdheres to all applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensures their team has the appropriate resources available and holds them accountable for the work assigned/performedProvide leadership and direction to on shift labor workforce to improve efficiency and output whilst ensuring necessary resources are available.Build / reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policiesComplete station performance goals and objectives that align with divisional and company goalsMaintain a high level of awareness of operational, safety and human resource related performance objectivesImplement and sustainment of continuous improvement activities and supervise safety and security of work group operations to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activitiesMaintain a high level of communication with employee groups within the work groupReport status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership whilst providing direction to assigned personnel to ensure shop and divisional objectives are achievedUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
