How will you make an impact?

Organizes and ensures the successful performance of testing of all incoming raw materials which will be used in GMP manufacturing. Supervise the personnel performing the work.

What will you do?

Provide leadership to assigned staff by performing the following: leading organizational change; developing and empowering staff; encouraging relationships; putting staff in a position to succeed, meeting their personal career goals while also achieving organizational goals; building effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals; driving engagement and crafting a climate where staff are motivated to do their best.Overall creation of work schedules for team.Schedule testing of raw materials for department.Review documentation of testing.Revise/review specifications, SOPs, and other documents regarding raw material testing.Train new hires on department processes, procedures and tools.Lead investigations in the case of deviations.Interact with auditors/clients during visits and tours.Lead all aspects of daily activity for the group to ensure appropriate quality and maintenance of schedules.Performance management of direct team.Review and approval of documentation generated by the group.Other job duties as assigned.

How will you get here?

Bachelor’s degree in biological science, chemistry, or related field.

Experience

Minimum of three years in raw materials testing or similar experience. 4-6 years of experience preferred.Knowledge of GMP regulations in a cGMP environment.Knowledge of raw materials sampling techniques and of sampling plans.At least 1 year of prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.Ability to drive functional, technical and operational excellence.Ability to inspire and foster innovation, collaboration, transparency and team effectiveness.Ability to manage timelines and coordinate work schedules of employees.
