Overview Publicis Sports, the sports marketing division within Publicis Media, is searching for a Supervisor in Chicago, Illinois. We ask that you have a motivated and entrepreneurial-mind to lead the oversight of the team, and management of client relationships and communicate with sports properties and media partnerships. The role includes both account management, as well as prospecting new business and new lines of business opportunities. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. Responsibilities Perform day-to-day project and account management duties, as assigned, related to client sports marketing partnerships across property and media channels, with a focus more in the media partnership space Analyze and understand client business strategies and objectives, and utilize that understanding to identify, develop and deliver high-value marketing recommendations and executions Provide a comprehensive understanding of marketing communications which can be effectively translated into developing sports marketing goals, objectives, and strategies Part of team leading ideation and delivering sports strategies across sponsorships, media and experiential activations and oversee the translation of these strategies into final recommendations and implementation plans Build, maintain, and grow client relationships and client business as well as with rights holders (leagues, teams, etc.), media owners and internal agency counterparts Develop POV’s and whitepapers on sports industry news and developments Qualifications Minimum 5 – 7 years working at a Media Agency, Sports Marketing agency or a Sports property (Leagues, Teams, Media, etc.) Demonstrated ability to understand and deliver on ideas and activation plans rooted in client business strategies and objectives Experience in an agency environment Strong presentation development (PowerPoint) and Excel skills are a must Comfort working in syndicated research tools, such as MRI/Simmons/Scarborough/GWI Strong written and verbal communication skills a must Demonstrated ability to think strategically Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proven ability to lead and interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
