Job Description Summary:
We’re looking for someone with a passion for Operations Leadership for a position in our Vancouver Flight Kitchen. If you have strong leadership skills and production experience this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level. You will be leading people and process in our food production & assembly department. As we’re a 24hr/day, 7 days per week operation, you must be able to work various shifts.

Leverage your culinary expertise to take our customer’s experience to the next levelContribute to new menu designEnsuring customer’s quality standards are always met or exceededResponsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specifications and regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.Champions employee safety without compromiseManages daily manpower planning including assignment of responsibilities and workstations.Responsible for evaluating employee performance, coaching and corrective action for employees and liaises as required with HR and other support functions. Trains and monitors employees on proper work procedures to ensure maximum productivity with minimum labour and food costsAlways looks for ways to minimize labour and material costWorks closely with all internal customers & suppliers to continuously improve the overall supply chainWorks with entire leadership team toward a unified goalAdministrative tasks including creation of requisitions, production sheets, HACCP documentation, shift reports etc.Education:
Red Seal Chef preferredWork Experience:
Minimum 3 years cooking or food preparation experience with a wide array of cuisinesMinimum 2 years of leadership experience in a high volume, fast paced food production environment with complex menusProduction planning experience a plusJob Skills:
