Location: Heflin, AL **Compensation Market Job Description** Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment | Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements The maintenance supervisor will provide leadership to the entire maintenance department with a clear vision for a value-added maintenance team with a strong focus on reliability. This individual will be responsible for supervising and leading the maintenance team in such a way that promotes a safe, positive, productive, and engaged work environment as well as encourages total employee involvement. Will supervise and or support all aspects of maintenance including, but not limited to, workforce scheduling, spare parts availability, special projects, reliability of equipment, inspection process, preventive maintenance functions, parts ordering, record keeping, etc. Must have reasonable knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical repair procedures, mechanical drive trains and components, basic electrical systems, and plant infrastructure, i.e., boilers, air compressors, and process water systems. Expected to be flexible on schedule arrangements, including weekends. **Southwire Job Description** Description of Duties and Responsibilities Safety Management • Promote a Culture of Zero by continuously monitoring safety rules and requirements (i.e. dress code/PPE/reporting requirements/machine guarding) • Lead the completion of Incident Investigations at the time of the event, including root cause and corrective action.
