Your Opportunity:

Taylor Communications, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor. This position is responsible for training new employees, forklift and safety training, and manage inbound and outbound inventory within the warehouse at the Autobahn Dallas, TX location.

Shift Available: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, with Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities Include:

Training of all MHE (material handling equipment)Maintains favorable working relationships with employees to promote a positive working environmentLead, coach, mentor and motivate direct reports to achieve the optimum level of performanceMonitor department budgets and approve budget expensesRecords daily performance metrics: Quality – Production – On Time Performance and monitors the results to budget or goal targetsDevelop and implement department goals, communicates expectations, timelines, processes and performance feedback to department personnelDevelop and implement consistent department procedures.  Evaluating process methods for improvementAnalyze production staffing levels to meet financial and production goalsEstablish work procedures, processes and standards that support company and department goals and objectivesImplement and maintain safe work processesEnsures employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobsAnalyze work orders to estimate work hours and create schedules to meet both internal and external needsProvides performance feedback on an ongoing basis and writes and administers timely performance reviewsEnsures that customer focus and service is a prioritySupports LEAN process transformation and seeks continuous improvement developmentCommunicates with other company leaders in cooperative planning and discussionsReview and continuous documentation of work cell SOP’s to assist trainingReview and maintain department suppliesManage normal and exception inbound and outbound processesOversee Maintenance of the facility and MHELeading the overall Safety ProgramInventory control activities within the Alliance system

 Minimum Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent amount of experience preferred2 years’ experience in production/warehouse environmentStrong analytical and computer skills including Excel and WordExperience with budgeting, managing to a budget and P&L knowledge Strong leadership and organizational skillsDemonstrate problem solving/decision making abilitiesExperience with empowerment and agilityComfortable collaborating with other departments, leaders and teams to accomplish specific timelines and resultsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and time constraintsOrganized and detail oriented3 years, experience in Office /Warehouse environmentMin of 5 years’ experience in leadership rollQualified to operate and train personal on all MHEGood written and oral communication skillsWorking in a real time inventory systemValid and current driver’s licenseAbility to multitask and meet deadlines while working under pressure
