ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns. Domestic relocation assistance to Darwin or Cairns from anywhere in Australia is provided.
As the Superintendent Technical Stewardship, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction and safety initiatives within the Concentration and Logistics processes to achieve targeted production outcomes.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
Championing safety, compliance, and team competence within operations. Defining and optimising process parameters to maximise production and quality. Driving operational improvements through process performance monitoring and project implementation. Managing budgets, contracts, and prioritising process capital projects.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Significant technical experience in Metallurgical/Concentration process. Leading technical teams and setting clear performance expectations. Effectively communicating technical direction and influencing stakeholders. Leveraging data and cross-functional relationships to drive continuous improvement. Managing complex operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Qualifications for this position are:
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Control Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry or equivalent.
