Job Description

We are looking for a Superintendent to join our successfully growing team in Northern Virginia. Based out of Winchester, our work primarily takes place in the Fairfax corridor/NOVA. We are a general contractor specializing in commercial work, specifically in healthcare GROUND-UP construction. This role involves overseeing high-level healthcare projects, with no interiors work involved.

ResponsibilitiesPre-qualify subcontractors and conduct subcontractor visits.Supervise 5-10 staff members across multiple projects.Manage all field personnel, providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.Develop daily schedules for job sites and handle any arising issues.Manage RFI's and submittals.Essential Skills5-10 years of experience in commercial/healthcare GROUND-UP construction.Experience managing projects worth $20 million or more.Proficiency in managing subcontractors, scheduling, and budgeting from the field perspective.Minimum certifications: OSHA30, First Aid, and CPR.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in K-12, higher education, and elderly living construction projects.Strong leadership and coordination skills.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Work Environment

This position requires on-site presence in Winchester, VA and NOVA daily. The role involves working in a small, growing team focused on high-level healthcare construction projects in greater Virginia. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions. Occasionally, the employee may encounter wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, extreme temperatures, electrical shock risks, radiation, and vibration. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.00/hr.
