Job Description
We are seeking experienced Construction Superintendents with a background in heavy civil, site work, excavation, bridgework, or underground utilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil/dirt job projects such as dams, water resources, transportation, and site work. The role requires strong scheduling and management skills, effective communication, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
ResponsibilitiesRun and manage a crew of operators and laborers on the ground.Manage subcontractors for various projects.Self-perform tasks including installation of cofferdams, dewatering sumps, and wells; demolition of existing concrete structures; excavation; controlled embankment fill; excavation of deep pipe trenches using shoring; and installation of pipe and manholes.Oversee a major subcontractor performing cast-in-place concrete work for new spillways.Ensure daily reports are completed accurately.Maintain project schedules and manage daily operations effectively.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of construction management experience.Experience in heavy civil, site work, excavation, bridgework, or underground utilities.Proficiency in scheduling and management.Strong communication skills.Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.Leadership qualities and a proactive attitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in dam construction is preferred.No additional certifications or training required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a dam construction site, which includes a mix of trailer and site work. Expect to get dirty. The team size can range from 20-30 people. The dress code includes construction clothes, tool belts, and PPE. The work week is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with potential adjustments based on weather conditions. Candidates must be able to commute to one of the job sites located in Philadelphia, Wayne County, or Gap, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00
