A Day in the Life:Schedule & manage crews on siteMonitor, approve and track labour hoursAssist in the hiring and separation of field employeesEnsure crews meet or exceed safety planEnsure all site paperwork is up to date, including safety, field reports, etc. Communicate daily with crews, management, subtrades, consultants and GCAttend meetings as required including hand off, prestart and other onsite meetingsProactively determine equipment needs on site and coordinate their deliveryEnsure production goals are being achieved while following Flynn's QA/QC programCoach & mentor crews Responsible for productivity, expediting materials/equipment and the contractual performance of the project

What You Bring:Experience in the construction industry (roofing) is requiredGood communication (verbal & written)Computer aptitude (Outlook, Bluebeam, excel, word, etc.)Basic estimating/mathematical skillsAbility to deal with conflict and adapt in a dynamic environmentExcellent time management and problem solving skillsConstruction 101 education (preferred)
