Superintendent
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site supervision and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on timeCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and materials to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to the required standardsMaintain quality control standards throughout the project, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds industry standardsManage safety on the job site, including conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulationsResolve any problems that arise during the project and report progress to the project managerManage project budgets and ensure that all costs are tracked and accounted forDevelop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that their expectations are exceededEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing construction projectsUse construction management software and MS Office to keep track of project progress and communicate with team membersQualifications3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar roleBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldOSHA certification and LEED accreditation are preferredDemonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to manage and motivate a teamStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience with construction plans and specificationsProficiency with construction management software and MS OfficePhysical abilities to perform job site tasksAttention to detail, teamwork, decision-making, and time management skillsProven problem-solving abilityExperience with budget management, client relations, and compliance
