Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join a rapidly growing construction firm based in Washington, DC. The company specializes in ground-up multi-family projects and is committed to connectivity and collaboration. This role involves overseeing large-scale multi-family projects with budgets of $10 million or more, requiring expertise in managing projects with at least seven units.

ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage large multi-family construction projects from inception to completion.Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, managing 7-8 subcontractors on each project.Facilitate collaboration among team members to achieve project goals.Implement project plans and schedules, adapting to any changes or challenges that arise.Essential Skills3+ years of experience as a construction Superintendent.Proven experience in ground-up multi-family construction projects, specifically those with at least 7 units.Strong capability in managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment.Strong leadership and communication skills.Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic project conditions.Work Environment

The work environment is on-site in Washington, DC, with a team of approximately 10 members. The role requires presence at the jobsite five days per week, alongside 1-2 other team members. This company fosters a highly collaborative atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork and collective effort in multi-family projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $46.00/hr.
