About the Role:
As a global OEM, we are paving the way with new technology. We are seeking a dynamic, confident and experienced Superintendent to manage the overall day-to-day operations and performance of this newly created 24x7 Mining Support solution.
Working closely with the customer, and technical support group functions you will be pivotal in enhancing the customer ownership and operating experience while being responsible for the provision of robust and effective leadership and coordination of projects to enable and empower the team to deliver, safe, efficient, and compliant support to the Mining Division and its Customers.
Skills and Duties:With an immediate start you will:
Be primarily responsible for the deployment of the 24x7 Mining Support solution strategy
Have the primary responsibility for day-to-day management of the 24x7 Mining Support solution
Provide effective leadership and direction to allocated team members and be a proactive contributor to wider customer support continuous improvement initiatives, standardisation projects and other work segments as required
Coordinate resources, manage progress, costs, timeframes and completion in accordance with the defined project plans.
Essential Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a 24x7 environment
Exceptional customer relationship management experience
An Engineering or trade qualification with 10+ years industry experience.
Desirable Requirements:
Ideally you will have:
Experience working in a mature continuous improvement environment
Experience managing budget and financial requirements
Experience working on Liebherr equipment and sound working knowledge of the tools and processes available
Experience managing remote teams.
