We are currently looking for a Maintenance Superintendent in Monroe, North Carolina within our Specialty Materials business unit. Youll play a vital role in helping us continue to transform from a reactionary approach to a proactive, preventive and predictive maintenance program. You will be responsible for supervising the upkeep of the plant's machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. This pivotal role entails strategizing, executing, and overseeing maintenance operations to maximize equipment efficiency and reliability, thereby minimizing downtime and sustaining uninterrupted production. Additionally, you will lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Leads, and Maintenance Technicians, orchestrating both preventive and corrective maintenance activities seamlessly. To become successful, youll have to quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing equipment/systems, and our maintenance program. A successful Maintenance Leader is a problem-solver, can lead teams in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions, and is able to identify opportunities to enhance equipment and production efficiencies without compromising quality. Additional Responsibilities + Develop, implement, and manage maintenance planning and tracking system (Maximo) meeting established timeframe. + Responsible for all aspects of shift operations including Safety, Quality, Company Policies, Production, Operational Cost, Lean Manufacturing Procedures, and On-Time Performance. + Managing and supporting the maintenance team including task assignment, performance management, policy adherence and development. + Set and manage maintenance activities, ensuring timely response to the operations. + Develop Capital and Major Maintenance recommendations. + Manage implemented Capital projects and Major Maintenance for the respective plants. + Direct safety program to achieve established goals to ensure a zero injury culture. + Prepare and adhere to departmental budgets. + Provide effective maintenance operational updates to team and BU management. + Provide cross-functional support to other maintenance areas as required.
