We are seeking an engineering intern for our Quality Team: The position is responsible to ensure component’s compliance to requirements during series process: + Revalidation (annual layout) management + Document Read across and Risk Mitigation Analysis + Assist with various tasks related to AAR for critical projects with various customers. + Focus on Continuous Improvement Activities to improve supplier performance + The position holder is a member of all ZF LIFETEC product lines, i.e., Seatbelts, airbags and steering wheel systems **Detailed duties:** + Perform annual layout of components (revalidation) per AIAG and customer specific requirements. + Assist SQA in systemic problem-solving including root cause analysis, verify implementation of robust corrective & preventive counter measures and monitoring effectiveness. + Perform Document Read across & Risk Mitigation Analysis, Mistake proofing control review and address gaps. + Review and follow up on Read Across activities based on the lessons learned from critical supplier issues. + Create and organize inventory part containment, prioritize high level AAR submissions. + Documentation preparation required for submissions, and color matching /color measurement of components. **Qualifications:** + Pursuing an engineering degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA on a a 4.0 scale + Systemic Problem-Solving analysis skill + Basic understanding of GD&T, measurement systems, statistical basics + Effective Communication, presentation, and strong negotiation skills + Good computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc. Be part of our ZF Lifetec team as Summer Intern- Quality and apply now!
