Sentara is currently hiring an Intern to work out Sentara Center Pointe office in the Operational Process Improvement department. This is a temp full-time position and dayshift hours. This intern ship will start May 19th and last 10 weeks.

Position Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Job Requirements:

Must be currently pursuing and/or enrolled in a college or university at an undergraduate or graduate level or an active military service member seeking a SkillBridge internship.

Pursuing Engineering Degree or in MHA Program Preferred

Position allows for temporary employment as part of educational development opportunity. Under the close direction of permanently employed leaders of the division, Intern assumes responsibility for operational projects and supporting the leadership initiatives for a defined period of time. Assist in completion of various projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned department and healthcare industry. Coordinates and assists with projects based on operational needs and/or Intern's area of interest. Communicates ongoing progress related to currently assigned tasks.
