General Summary:
As a leading technology innovator, Qualcomm pushes the boundaries of what's possible to enable next-generation experiences and drives digital transformation to help create a smarter, connected future for all. As a CPU Power Analysis Engineer, you will be working on CPU performance and power characterization and conducting competitive analysis using industry standard benchmarks and workloads in sub-4nm process for mobile space. Your responsibilities lie primarily in the physical interaction with devices to enable measurement and data collection.
Basic Qualifications:
Graduate students major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or closely related field.
Good in scripting programming
Knowledge of IC implementation flow
Experience with EDA tool such as: PrimeTime, Primetime-PX, PowerArtist, DesignCompiler, Genus, Innovus, etc
Preferred Qualifications:
Good communicator in verbal and writing in English
Good understanding of Verilog/System Verilog
Experience with CPU micro-architecture and their power challenges
Experience with Perl/Tcl scripting
Low power intent concepts and languages (UPF or CPF)
Skills:
PrimeTime-PX, PrimePower, PowerArtist, Perl/Python Programming, Static Timing Analysis (STA), PrimeTime, Tcl Programming, RTL Synthesis, Design Synthesis, Physical Design
