Gain invaluable work experience in a growing company! An exciting summer intern opportunity awaits a motivated student in the Carseland Nitrogen Operations site located approximately 30 minutes east of Calgary beginning May 2025 for an approximate 4-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.

 

What you will do:

Work using technical knowledge and guidance from the site Instrumentation Technologist Review and update instrumentation documentation related to MOC’s and Projects (SPI Datasheets, P&ID’s PLC, and DCS wiring) Develop maintain plans, and organize record keeping for critical site instrumentation (Safety Instrumented Systems)

What you will bring:

Working towards a diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology Ability to work with minimum supervision Computer literate with experience and skill using standard Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
