Summer Associate - Project Controls - Northern Virginia
The Summer Associate - Project Controls role provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the Clark organization and construction industry. In this role, you will apply your learning to help advance the financial health of Clark projects. Hone your skills and build experience supporting projects ranging in size from $20 million to $1 billion in contract values. **Responsibilities** + Project Accounting & Administration + Compiling owner requisition + Internal audit finding resolution + Subcontractor requisition processing + Accounts payable processing + Consumable materials purchasing + Management of field payroll + Equipment inventory monitoring + Assist with project setup and closeout + Owner contract review and readiness + Lien waiver & insurance administration + Small Business Tracking & Reporting **Project Finance** + Support monthly project financial forecast + Prepare monthly cost reports + Key performance indicator monitoring + Process innovation and improvement + Project cash-flow monitoring and forecasting + Change Order Monitoring & Reconciliation **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related field + Highly motivated individual with strong organizational and time management skills + Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skillsUndergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, safety, business or a related field + Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint **Preferred Qualifications** + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Careful attention to detail and reliability of output + Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment + Experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms a plus **Summer Associate Program Overview** Our summer associate program provides a realistic view of what it’s like to work at Clark through meaningful, hands-on experiences. The summer associate program is a full-time program (minimum of 40 hours per week) that starts in late May or early June and typically runs about 8-10 weeks in length.
