This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance and leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile and make a difference in how we do business. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about T-Mobile’s Tax Department and gain experience in Transaction Tax operations. Are you ready to join the Un-Carrier?

What you will do

Assist in analyzing and consolidating tax compliance reporting.Review transaction tax reports and returns for completeness and accuracy.Prepare journal entries and assist in account reconciliations.Research business license requirements and obligations.Suggest and implement any process improvements or automation tools to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Accounting.Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills.Outstanding data analysis, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.

-At least 18 years of age
-Legally authorized to work in the United States
-High School Diploma or GED
-Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
-Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
