Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Louisiana LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a Summer 2025 Engineering Internship to support engineering projects at our Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) facility in Convent, LA. Our facility produces high-grade metallic iron used in Nucor’s steelmaking process. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial setting, working alongside industry professionals.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a 4-year Engineering degree from an accredited institution 2.5 GPA or higher Preferred Qualifications: Currently a Junior or Senior standing 3.0 GPA or higher Majoring in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Petroleum Engineering How to Apply:
