Sugarloaf Narrow Gauge Food Court Supervisor
Overview Are you a dynamic leader seeking a unique opportunity with the Sugarloaf team? Our Food and Beverage department is currently seeking a reliable team leader with service experience to take on a full-time winter role as our new Narrow Gauge Food Court Supervisor. The Narrow Gauge Food Court Supervisor plays a key role in the daily operations of the resort’s Base Lodge cafeteria, working closely with the Narrow Gauge Food Court Manager to lead the team in providing excellent customer service, maintaining quality food service, stocking cafeteria areas, and ensuring cleanliness at all times. Additionally, the Narrow Gauge Supervisor will oversee cash, assist with inventory, and lead front-of-house team members in the Manager’s absence. Responsibilities Ensure the safety of all team members and guests Train and be a resource for all team members in the food court Serve foods and ensure displays are stocked Operate POS system to serve guests and team members Assist guests with complaints and issue resolution Ensure facility and food handling practices meet or exceed all federal, state, and resort food safety standards May also require behind the line support including cooking, washing dishes, and food prep Qualifications We are seeking a candidate for this role who: possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in customer service is a team player has strong communication skills can be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as guest volume demands Sugarloaf Team Member Benefits include: Free lift pass for skiing and/or riding (at Sugarloaf, Sunday River, Loon and Pleasant Mountain) Discounts at resort F&B and retail locations Discounted ski/snowboard lessons and rentals Access to Nordic trails and equipment rentals at the Outdoor Center Discounted passes at other Boyne and partner resorts Eligibility for end of season bonus Team Members may also be eligible to earn up to 40 hours of paid time off
