Overview Sugarloaf is currently looking for experienced and outgoing ski/snowboard enthusiasts to join our retail team as Ski/Snowboard Demo Techs. In the Demo/Retail shop you will assist guests through process of renting Demo equipment while providing excellent customer service in rapid paced job with continual guest contact. Daily duties also include tuning/waxing skis and snowboards, hard good sales, as well as ski/boot repair. Responsibilities Accurately identify when a ski or snowboard requires a tune, and be able to recommend the type of service that best meets the needs of the guest and their equipment Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all product and service levels and industry trends Sharpen, wax and drill equipment as necessary Ensure that pricing is correct and current with any promotions advertised Maintain shop cleanliness standards Operate at the highest standards of safety Monitor inventory Maintain working knowledge of products and trends within the snowsport industry Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will: be an experienced and passionate skier. have 2+ years in rental or retail environment. possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
